Begin the day with a leisurely morning in Barkot, surrounded by the calm beauty of the Yamuna Valley. After freshening up, enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and prepare for the onward journey toward Uttarkashi.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and set out on a scenic mountain drive to Uttarkashi. This route offers dense forests, winding roads, and breathtaking Himalayan views, making the journey as memorable as the destination itself.

En route, cross the serene Radi Top mountain pass, a quiet and lesser-known stretch where the landscape transitions from the Yamuna basin to the Bhagirathi valley. A short photo stop here allows you to enjoy the cool breeze and panoramic forest views.

Continuing the drive, visit the mystical Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave (popularly known as Shivgufa). This naturally formed cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva holds immense spiritual significance and is reached by a short walk through a peaceful forested area.

After seeking blessings at Shivgufa, proceed toward Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important Shiva temples in the region, followed by darshan at the adjacent Shakti Temple. Take a gentle walk along the Bhagirathi River ghats, soaking in the calm and spiritual ambiance of the town.

Later, check in to your hotel in Uttarkashi. The remainder of the day is free to relax, acclimatize, or explore the local market at your own pace.
