The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage established by Adi Shankaracharya, covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath in Uttarakhand. It is believed that visiting these holy shrines brings spiritual peace, purification, and divine blessings to devotees.
Pickup from Haridwar in the morning and start your scenic drive to Barkot. En route, enjoy a refreshing stop at the famous Kempty Falls near Mussoorie. Check in to your hotel in Barkot for an overnight stay.
Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti. Begin a 6 km trek (pony/doli available on extra cost) to Yamunotri Temple, the origin of the holy Yamuna River. Offer prayers and return to Barkot for the night.
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi. Visit the revered Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Drive towards Gangotri, passing through the breathtaking Harshil Valley and the warm waters of Gangnani. After darshan at Gangotri Temple, return to Uttarkashi for the night.
Morning departure for Sersi, the base for Kedarnath. Enjoy the changing mountain landscapes on the way. Overnight stay in Sersi.
