Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot

Pickup from Haridwar in the morning and start your scenic drive to Barkot. En route, enjoy a refreshing stop at the famous Kempty Falls near Mussoorie. Check in to your hotel in Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Haridwar → Barkot

After breakfast, drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie. Enjoy scenic Himalayan roads, waterfalls, and mountain views along the way.
Barkot is the base town for Yamunotri and offers peaceful surroundings ideal for acclimatization.

Your body begins adapting to the mountain climate.

Day 03: Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot

Drive to Janki Chatti and begin a 6 km trek (pony, doli, or palki available) to Yamunotri Temple.
Offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna and take a holy dip in Surya Kund (hot water spring). After darshan, trek back and return to Barkot.

Day 04: Barkot → Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4–5 hours). Visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave, Shiva Waterfall, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Uttarkashi is located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is also known as the “Kashi of the North.” Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi

Early morning departure for Gangotri, driving alongside the holy Bhagirathi River.
Visit Gangotri Temple, the origin of River Ganga. Spend peaceful moments amidst snow-clad peaks before returning to Uttarkashi.

Day 06: Uttarkashi → Guptkashi

Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple followed by temple parikrama.
